A FESTIVAL OF LIGHT + SOUND

BIGGER & BRIGHTER.

Port Kembla Festival is an annual event held along Wentworth Street and hosted by live music venues, motorcycle stores, barbershops and outdoor gardens. The festival presents an exciting range of music from around Australia, set alongside markets, workshops and light installations in unexpected urban settings. The festival activates every space available to us, sending patrons bouncing from space to space well into the night.

Each year the event welcomes over 2,000 revellers to Port Kembla in celebration of live music, art and community. The 2024 event has concluded, keep your eyes on our socials for updates on 2025! The festival is produced by Holy Pavlova and The Port Kembla Chamber of Commerce.

ART, MUSIC, VENUES

1 STREET. 8 VENUES. 40+ ARTISTS.

The festival is free to attend! Each year, we’ve seen lines around the corner and venues overspilling into the streets. To accomodate the festival’s growing audience, we’ve introduced a new laneway stage which boasts the largest capacity and the latest running time. This new space will provide a dynamic and immersive experience for festival-goers. There are also a number of more intimate, ticketed shows available available for purchased. Some of these are very limited, so be quick.

Catch the action between our main stages at Hoochie Laneway, The Servo and The Iron Yampi, plus heaps more live music across side stages The Shave Cave, Black Metal Moor Co, The Bank Space, The Vault & The Commercial Hotel. You can also experience light installations, makers markets, exhibitions, pop-up bars and our annual World of Food experience in different pockets of the street.
