PORT KEMBLA FESTIVAL
1 STREET. 10 VENUES. 40+ ARTISTS.
Music, creativity, and community converge in the dynamic heart of Port Kembla. Port Kembla Festival is an annual event hosted by music venues, art galleries, laneways, barbershops, yoga studios, gardens and heaps more along Wentworth St. Our host spaces are curated mindfully, each provides a new and unique experience to explore. The event is an all day, all night gig-crawl with something for everyone. The 2026 event has concluded, keep an eye on our socials or join our mailer for news on the next!
KEEP PK FEZ ALIVE
We trust you had a ripper day at Port Kembla Festival. Want to see it return?
This year was our biggest — and most underfunded. That meant long volunteer hours, longer queues, and no Military Lane stage. We'd love to open up new spaces and bring back PK Festival next year. PK Festival stays free because of grants and sponsorships. We apply for them every single year, and each year is more competitive. Right now there no funding locked in for 2027. We'd like to change that.
So we're asking you to pay what you feel for the weekend. If the sun, the music, the art, and seeing Port Kembla buzz was worth something to you — please hit the link and donate. Every dollar counts.
✺ Stage 1 is covering '26 costs
✺ Stage 2 is planning the '27 event
With our deepest gratitude, Port Kembla Festival Committee.
To all the grant bodies and sponsors who've kept the dream alive this far, thank you from us and the 4,000+ people who came along.
ABOUT
Port Kembla Festival is produced by Holy Pavlova. Each year up to 4,000 people from all corners of the country descend onto Wentworth St to enjoy the event.
The festival presents an exciting range of live music and is set alongside markets, workshops and light installations in urban settings. We take great pride in the unpolished, industrial context on which Port Kembla Festival thrives – heavy industry, a seaside culture and a thriving arts scene. This year, Port Kembla Festival shines a light on our native Illawarra music and arts scene.
Our official host venues include The Servo, The Iron Yampi, Future Artifacts, The Shave Cave, The Wentworth, Nasa Gallery & Studios, Number 99, The Panthaway, Port Beirut and Red Point Arts Studio. However, explore a little further and you’ll find plenty of extra treats around the street.
RSVP INFO
RSVP required for 18+ attendees. Under 18's don't need to register. Please note that although the festival is all ages, access for minors is granted on a venue-by-venue basis. Detailed information on this will be announced closer to the date.
If venues are full, we encourage you to try another space or enjoy the many unique corners of Port Kembla. The event kicks off at 2PM and runs til late, so you’ll have all day to find a space which feels like home.
You’ll find links here when we announce the 2027 event!
